Ken Griffey Jr. Calls It Quits

After 22 seasons in the MLB, 40 year old Ken Griffey Jr. is calling it quits.  Arguably one of the best baseball players of our time and definitely the most talented, Griffey leaves the game with 630 homeruns leaving him 5th on the all-time list, 10 Gold Glove awards and 13 All Star appearances.  Considered to have the perfect swing, there’s no doubt in my mind that he would have broken the all-time homerun record if he stayed healthy throughout his career.  He will be missed.
