I’ve gotten mixed reviews from people on Nneka’s music but I think she’s got some lovely talent.  It doesn’t help to have the cosign of such artists as The Roots and Nas.

I know I’m probably late on this but I recently downloaded her mixtape with J. Period for my long drive to Buffalo and I got a chance to check out what the fuss is about this girl.  She didn’t blow my mind but the Nigerian songstress is pretty dope, nonetheless.  So check out this video of her and pay attention for her album, Concrete Jungle, dropping on February 2nd.
